What are the system requirements for DVD-Cloner XR for Mac?


DVD-Cloner XR for Mac with XceedRead™ technology requires the system to be configured with the following equipments as a minimum:
 
CPU: Intel or Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) 1.0GHz or higher
Memory: 4GB (8GB recommended for optimal XceedRead™ performance)
Free hard disk space required: 15GB (increased for enhanced error correction capabilities)
One DVD burner/Blu-ray burner (external USB drives supported)
Model: All Mac models released after 2015 (optimized for both Intel and Apple Silicon)

Mac OS: macOS 10.13 or later versions (macOS 12 Monterey or later recommended)

macOS Sonoma is recommended for best XceedRead™ engine performance and disc compatibility.


 

 

 

What is system requirement?
To be used efficiently, all computer software needs certain hardware components or other software resources to exist on a computer. These pre-requisites ate known as system requirements and are often used as a guideline as opposed to an absolute rule. There are usually two sets of system requirements: minimum and recommended. Then what are they? Minimum system requirements are often needed to meet the normal computer operation. Maybe your computer with lower specifications run the software, but you will lose some special features due to the poor specifications. Recommended system requirements are often suggested by software vendors optimal performance of a software. Although not necessary, they are often sought after by power users who expect to get a better experience of software use. Now let's look at some requirements for some systems. For PC, it needs an OS environment of Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and needs an 800 MHz or higher CPU. It is available for all browsers and needs a Flash player version 9.0r115&later. For Mac, it needs an OS environment of Mac OS 8.1& up or OS X 10.2 up and an 800 MHz or higher CPU. It is also available for all web browsers and needs a Flash player version 9.0r115 & later. For Linux, though we don not officially support playback on Linux, we are not aware of problems in any of the system configurations we have reviewed.
